Activities for today: Qiao Family's Compound
Morning meet your guide at the airport or train station. Then we will drive about 1.5 hours to Pingyao, en route, we will visit the Qiao Family's Compound. Constructed in 1756 by a famous businessman, the compound impressed you not just for its size but also for the exquisite craftsmanship displayed in the brick carvings, woodwork, murals, and inscribed tablets.
