Zhangjiajie
Zhangjiajie is a prefecture-level city in the northwestern part of Hunan province in China. Within it is located Wulinyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area which was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992 as well as a AAAAA scenic area by the China National Tourism Administration.
Local scenic hotspots include the Zhangjiaie National Forest Park, the Tianzi Mountain, the Yellow Dragon Cave, the Tianmen Mountain, Baofeng Lake and the Suoxi Valley. They are the most important components of Wulingyuan Scenic Area.Its unique sandstone landscapes and its primeval forests make the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park a number one choice for visitors to the area. It is also a very popular filming and tourist destination in the world.
