Day 1 Hong Kong Arrival

Upon arrival in Hong Kong, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 2 Hong Kong

Activities for today: Victoria Peak, Aderdeen Fishing Village, Repulse Bay, Stanley Market

Morning visit the Victoria Peak, Aberdeen Fishing Village, Repulse Bay and Stanley Market (optional sampan ride and peak tram). Enjoy Dim Sum lunch at Jumbo Kingdom Restaurant. Free for your own exploration for the rest of the day.

Day 3 Hong Kong/Guilin

Transfer via: plane for economy class – our arrangement

Activities for today: Fly to Guilin. Airport transfer (HK, Guilin)

Free at leisure in the morning and take the afternoon flight to Guilin. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel.

Day 4 Guilin

Activities for today: Elephant Hill, Jingjiang Palace, Reed Flute Cave, Rice Noodles Lunch

After breakfast at the hotel, meet the guide and start today’s city tour to visit the Elephant Hill, Jingjiang Palace, and Reed Flute Cave. Enjoy Guilin Rice Noodles for lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon free walk to explore Central Square, and Zhengyang Pedestrian Street.

Day 5 Guilin/Yangshuo

Activities for today: Li River Cruise, West Street

After breakfast at the hotel, meet the guide and drive about 40 minutes to Zhujiang Pier, and take a cruise on the Li River (about 3.5-4 hours) and enjoy a simple Chinese buffet lunch on board. Upon arrival at the small town Yangshuo in the afternoon. Check in your hotel and free for your own exploration (perhaps strolling or shopping for some souvenirs along the West Street).

Day 6 Yangshuo

Transfer via: Cruise

Activities for today: Countryside tour, Bamboo Rafting, Cooking class

Today riding a bike or taking an electronic vehicle to Yangshuo nearby countryside and explore the stunning scenery, rice paddies, water buffalo and local farmers’ life. Followed by taking a bamboo rafting on Yulong River. In the afternoon, you will meet the local chef master and go to the local market for shopping some ingredients for cooking, and learn how to cook local Chinese dishes. Enjoy the dishes for dinner in the evening.

Day 7 Yangshuo/Guilin/Kunming

Transfer via: TBA – our arrangement

Activities for today: Fly to Kunming, airport transfer (Yangshuo, Kunming)

Free at leisure in Yangshuo until meet the guide and transfer to Guilin airport for the flight to Kunming. Upon arrival in Kunming, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. Free evening for your own exploration.

Day 8 Kunming

Activities for today: Stone Forest, West Hill & Dragon Gate, Crossing-over bridge rice noodles and boiler steamed chicken Dinner.

After breakfast at the hotel, meet the guide and drive 1.5 hours to explore the Stone Forest. It is the most famous tourist attraction in Kunming - a typical formation of Karst topography. Lunch will be taken at a local Chinese restaurant. In the afternoon, explore the West Hill and Dragon Gate (with one-way cable car). It is a beautiful forest park located by Dian Lake and it features cliff-side grottoes cut out of the sheer stonewalls. In the evening, enjoy the local crossing-over bridge rice noodles and boiler steamed chicken for dinner.

Day 9 Kunming/Shangri-la

Activities for today: Songzanlin Monastery, Dukezong Ancient Town

In the morning, meet the guide and transfer to the airport for the flight to Shangri-la. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to visit the Songzanlin Monastery, and Dukezong Ancient Town.

Day 10 Shangri-la

Activities for today: Nixi Pottery Village, Tibetan Family Visit, Napa Lake.

Today drive to Nixi Pottery Village and explore the making process of black pottery, visit the local Tibetan Family and see their life. Followed tour to explore the Napa Lake.

Day 11 Shangri-la/Lijiang

Transfer via: private vehicle

Activities for today: Tiger Leaping Gorge

In the morning, meet the guide and transfer to the Lijiang. En route, explore Tiger Leaping Gorge.

Day 12 Lijiang

Activities for today: Baisha Village, Shuhe Old Town, Black Dragon Pool Park, Dongba Museum, Naxi local dishes dinner

Today leisure guide tour to visit the Baisha Village and Shuhe Old Town. It is the earliest settlement of Naxi People in Lijiang when their ancestors first moved to this region. Shuhe is less touristy and polished with more original characters. Lunch will be taken at a local Chinese restaurant. In the afternoon, explore the Black Dragon Pool Park and Dongba Museum. There are more than 10, 000 Dongba cultural relics and various other historical relics in the museum. In the evening, enjoy Naxi People’s local dishes for dinner at local restaurant.

Day 13 Lijiang/Chengdu

Activities for today: Lijiang Old Town

Today guide tour to explore the Lijiang Old Town. It was listed as the World Cultural Heritage Sites in 1997. The town was originally called Dayan Town. Built by Naxi People with unique cultural background, it is a very well preserved old town. Transfer to the airport for the evening flight to Chengdu. Upon arrival, meet the guide and transfer to the hotel.

Day 14 Chengdu

Activities for today: Suchuan Cuisine Cooking Class, Jinli Old Street

Morning go to buy vegetable at a local market and then have a cooking class at a restaurant. You will learn how to make Sichuan cuisine. Then free at leisure to explore Jinli Old Street.

Day 15 Chengdu

Activities for today: Chengdu Panda Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, Leshan Giant Buddha

Drive to Chengdu Panda Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding to see the lovely China's ambassadors. This is a perfect place to see lovely giant pandas at their hometowns. In the afternoon, drive to Leshan to admire the biggest stone-carved Buddha sculpture in the world. The Leshan Giant Buddha was finished in 803 of Tang Dynasty after 90 year's construction with a 71-meter height.

Day 16 Chengdu/Xi’an

Activities for today: Big Wild Goose Pagoda Park, Ancient City Wall, learn how to make dumplings, Dumplings Dinner

Morning transfer to the airport and take the flight to Xi’an. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda Park and Ancient City Wall. Later this afternoon, transfer to a local restaurant and learn how to make dumplings. Enjoy dumplings for dinner.

Day 17 Xi’an/Beijing

Activities for today: Xi'an Daqin Terracotta & Lacquer Furniture Art Factory, Museum of Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses

After breakfast at the hotel, meet the guide and drive to visit the Xi'an Daqin Terracotta & Lacquer Furniture Art Factory. In the factory, you can see the process of how to make terracotta warriors and horses. Continue drive to visit the Museum of Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses. It is one of the most important archaeological finds in the 20th century; an army of terracotta warriors and the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at emperor Qin's tomb since 2,200 year ago.

Lunch will be taken at a local Chinese restaurant for special noodle in North of China. In the afternoon, transfer to Xi'an Airport for the afternoon flight to Beijing. Upon arrival, meet the guide and transfer to the hotel.

Day 18 Beijing

Activities for today: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven Park, Peking Duck Dinner

After breakfast at your hotel, meet the guide and start today's city tour from the Tiananmen Square which is the largest city square in the world, followed by the Forbidden City. It is the largest imperial palace in China for 24 emperors' reign during the Ming and Qing dynasties with a history of around 600 years. Lunch will be taken at a local Chinese restaurant.

In the afternoon, transfer to visit the Temple of Heaven, which is a masterpiece of architecture and landscape design where the ancient emperors used to pray for the God's bless of the whole nation. In the evening, enjoy Peking Duck Banquet for dinner.

Day 19 Beijing

Activities for today: Mutianyu Great Wall, Cloisonné Factory, Beijing Hutong

After breakfast at your hotel, meet the guide and drive to visit the Great Wall of Mutianyu Section, which is one of the great wonders in the world and the symbol of China. You can take a short hiking on the wall. Lunch will be taken at a local Chinese restaurant.

In the afternoon, pay a visit to the Cloisonné Factory where you can see the traditional Beijing culture Art. Drive back to the city, take a 3-wheel rickshaw to Hutong and have a visit to the local family. Hutong is the unique street design in Beijing - some crisscrossing old narrow paths with courtyard houses built on each side. It can be regarded as a window into Beijing folk life. Drive back to your hotel and free at leisure in the evening.

Day 20 Beijing/Exit
