Stalin Park
Stalin Park, formerly known as "River Bank Park", was built in 1953 and located on the southern bank of the Songhua River. East starts from the Songhua River Railway Bridge, West to Nine Stations Park, with a total length of 1750 meters, covers an area of 105,000 square meters, it situates on the opposite of the famous Sun Island Scenic Area.
Stalin Park is famous at home and abroad for its mimic’s Russian classical style architecture and the "colored grass parterre" as well as 16 groups various art sculptures.
The Whole scenic area makes "Flood Control Monument" as the center, which is famous for the Russian classical style architecture. The Flood Control Monument is also a symbol of Harbin, established to commemorate the victory over the two floods of Harbin People. Park's various art sculptures and Russian- classical -toys style buildings are novel and unique.
