2015 Yanqing Longqingxia Ice Lantern Festival is held in the north of Gucheng Village, Jiuxian Town, Yanqing County, Beijing from January 10, 2015 to the end of February. Theme as "Ice and Snow World · Colorful Yanqing", this Ice Lantern Festival integrates the Olympic rings, the Olympic Winter Games and Sports and other Olympic element into the "ice and snow". Taking the advantage of lanterns, ice and snow sculpture as well as other artistic techniques, it makes the theme elements of Winter Olympics become flexible, which creates an ice and snow park featuring thick atmosphere of Winter Olympics and a good atmosphere for bidding to host the 2022 Winter Olympics.

The 2015 Yanqing Longqingxia Ice Lantern Festival covers an area of 200,000 square meters, which consists of 3 areas, including Lantern Area, Ice Exhibition Area and Entertainment Area. There are 300 groups of lanterns,1,000 tree-lights, ten thousand meters Great Wall lights,ten thousand decorative lights and mountain lights in the Lantern Area. In the Ice Exhibition Area, there are 350 ice lanterns, 200 ice sculptures and 100 snow sculptures on display. In the Entertainment Area, there are a large group of snow slide and a group of ice slide. Visitors will see the wishing wall of "Refueling for Beijing",large color ice sculpture "Dragon Baby Welcome Winter Olympics", large ice mural "Beijing Come On" and 110-meter-length large snow sculpture "Winter Olympics Style" in the Ice and Snow Sculpture District. In addition, the scenic area will cycle show promo about bidding for the 2022 Winter Olympics, which makes visitors wander in the ice and snow world meanwhile can enjoy themselves in the thick atmosphere of China's application for holding the 2022 Winter Olympics.
