On October 28, 2014, Sichuan 2014 Wangcang Sixth Red Tourism Cultural Festival and Micangshan Red Leaves Festival will be officially opened at  Wangcang Culture & Sports Center. 

It is reported that Wangcang red leaves landscape mainly located in the northern mountainous of Wangcang County, especially enriches in Gucheng Mountain - Seven Mile Gorge National Scenic Spot, Cang Wang Gorge Scenic, Mengzi Gorge,etc.

There are ginkgo, maple trees and other resources of hundreds of species red leaves composition on Micangshan, which stretches nearly square kilometers of land.Every autumn, they exhibit dreamy, colorful beautiful nirvana.The best viewing time to Micangshan red leaves is from the late October to early November.

There are seven main activities in Micangshan Red Leaves Festivel, namely,October 28 - Opening Ceremony and large theatrical show; October 25 to 31 days - the national red touris management courses; October 29 - Wangcang investment promotion and signing ceremony; October 28 to November 16 - international touring car and tent camping activities,ect; October 25 to 30  -  folk culture performances.

In addition, during the festival, it will hold the scenic sightseeing experience and other types of local characteristics and cultural activities.
